A LEAKED hands-on video has given Samsung fans their most detailed look yet at the tech titan’s latest smartphone.
It confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus – one of three S10 variants the firm is expected to release next week – will come with two selfie snappers and a near edgeless display.
It also reveals the gadget will have an in-screen fingerprint sensor fixed in the bottom half of the screen.
That much is made obvious by a screen protector visible in the clip which leaves a fingerprint-sized hole to make it easier to unlock the gadget.
While we’ve already seen countless Galaxy S10 leaks, the new video, posted by Mobile Fun, shows the screen turning on the for the first time.
That means it gives a first look at the S10 Plus’s gorgeous 6.4-inch Amoled display, which features a “hole-punch” slot for the selfie cameras in the top right hand corner.
Samsung’s glitzy Galaxy S10 release event will take place in San Francisco next Wednesday.
The Korean colossus will almost certainly release three variants of the Galaxy S10: A standard S10, S10 Plus and an entry-level S10E that will go toe-to-toe with the iPhone XR.
Unlike its siblings, the S10 Plus – the largest and priciest of the three – will come with a triple rear camera setup, as well as two selfie snappers.
It could set you back £1,350, though this would still make it cheaper than the iPhone XS Max, which costs nearly £1,500 with all the bells and whistles.
Next week’s Samsung “Unpacked” event kicks off at 7pm GMT for Brits, and will be live-streamed, so gadget fanatics will be able to tune in from anywhere in the world.
As well as a range of S10s, there’s plenty of evidence that the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy X folding phone will be on show, too.
