LEAKED photos of what appear to be the unreleased Samsung Galaxy Note 10 have turned up online.
Multiple tipsters known for leaking upcoming gadgets have uploaded the first “official”-looking pics of the handset we’ve seen.
Samsung’s next flagship phone – an iPhone rival expected to launch in August – has been extensively leaked online.
But most photos that have been posted so far are blurry shots, design renders or images of phone cases.
As expected, the handset appears to have a large triple-camera on the back.
And as rumoured, Samsung has seemingly adopted an ‘Infinity O’ display.
That’s an all-screen design with a tiny pinhole cut-out at the top of the display for the selfie camera.
Just like previous Galaxy Note handsets, the Note 10 is pictured with an accompanying S-Pen stylus.
And one of the colour options is an eye-catching pearlescent paintjob that should prove popular.
While Samsung hasn’t formally announced the Galaxy Note 10, it may as well have.
The South Korean tech giant has confirmed a major gadget launch event for August.
Dubbed Galaxy Unpacked, the event will take place on August 7, 2019 in New York.
In a statement, Samsung said: “On August 7, Samsung will unveil new devices to take the Galaxy ecosystem’s connectivity to the next level.”
Promotional materials for the event include images of a stylus, which is a hallmark of Samsung’s Galaxy Note phone series.
The Galaxy Note line-up is Samsung’s most premium smartphone range (aside from the foldable Galaxy Fold).
It typically arrives in August of each year with bleeding-edge specs designed to compete with Apple’s yearly iPhone release in September.
Although Samsung launches premium Galaxy S devices in February or March, Samsung typically reserves its most powerful features for the Note phones.
These handsets are aimed at a more specialist audience: gadget geeks who are willing to splash out on top performance.
The news of a launch event comes just days after TechRadar revealed that Samsung had “confirmed” the existence of the Galaxy Note 10.
During a private event at Samsung’s South Korean campus, mobile boss DJ Koh namechecked the Galaxy Note 10 device twice.
That’s despite the fact that Samsung hasn’t formally announced the Galaxy Note 10, or acknowledged its existence through official channels.
